Matthias was born and raised in Sweden where he joined the Swedish Marines as a medic right after high school. After completing his term in the Military, Matthias decided to switch gears and pursue a career in financial planning. He made a decision to move to the United States to pursue studies in 2007 and take advantage of greater opportunities. Matthias applied and was accepted to attend San Diego State University where he graduated in four years with a Bachelor’s Degree in Financial Services. After graduation he started an extensive career search across the United States and ultimately ended his search right here in San Diego taking a position with LMT.
He has always been interested in helping people improve their financial situation and he believes he has a lot to offer when it comes to helping his clients reach their goals. His extensive studies in the financial sector as well as an internship with a large financial services and investment corporation here in San Diego gave him the foundation he needed to propel him into the financial sector.
As a very dedicated individual he always gives 100% for his clients and understands their needs. He believes that coming from another culture and starting here in the United States by himself and with minimum knowledge of American culture helped provide him with a different perspective and gives him strength and other advantages over the competition. Matthias comes from a family with two other siblings and a loving mother and father with whom he visits on an annual basis however he loves the United States and is here to stay.
During free time Matthias enjoys spending time with his friends, relaxing on the beach, or watching his favorite sports soccer and ice hockey. While growing up in Sweden he played competitive soccer (football in Sweden) on club teams and is an avid golfer. Matthias enjoys the team spirit at LMT which is what attracted him to the company and enjoys the ability to work directly with consumers on a face to face basis.
